Dakota Roadhouse

- Price range: $ (Under $9)
One step inside this rollicking roadhouse, and you'll instantly feel as if you've been transported to some American redneck town, where the word "Tribeca" means absolutely nothing. Cheap beer, "cheeseburger" fries, and mousetraps behind the bar clutching spare money are all fact here, and the crowd is a steady mix of locals, after-work passerby and bikers (yes, bikers). Billiards fans delight at the fact there are three tables to choose from, and foosball, darts and suspended TVs make for other ample entertainment if sitting at the 55-foot wood bar isn't cutting it. The decor is typical roadhouse: beer signs, American flags, and random knicknacks and clippings on the walls. Maybe the biggest oddity was the fact that they used to have a $2 arcade-type game where a mechanical claw grabs—no, not a stuffed animal— but an actual live loster, which recently broke and was deemed "unfixable."
