The former Hanger bar hung on to its "bar plus boutique" concept, but lost its dingy diviness in becoming Elsa (the bar in back) and Jake Mueser (the bespoke suit tailor in front). Elsa is a pretty, candle-lit little watering hole (named after ‘20s fashion icon Elsa Schiaparelli) serving elegant cocktails and draft beer that flows from an antique sewing machine. Orchids nestling in wall nooks that overlook the black-and-white and wood-lined floors add to the warm and low-key loveliness.
