Hope Lounge, a neighborhood favorite with a comfy-classy interior and a summery, spacious back patio (weather permitting), also offers special nights of live music, DJ sets, movies and the occasional BBQ party (if the hearty bar snacks, like rib steaks and burgers, don't do it for you). It's a good spot for larger parties, and for anyone who's available during the 3–8 p.m. Happy Hours (Monday–Friday), where Buds are $2, pints are $3, and you can take $2 off everything else.

Nice garden. Overpriced and a bit upscale and lacking in character for the neighborhood.
