From the owners of beloved divey bar Daddy's comes Mother's, a pub on Graham Ave in the former home of vegan Caribbean joint Mighty Diamond. The menu is streamlined, with an emphasis on burgers—from veggie to bison, $5 alone and $7 with hand-cut fries—and the 16 brews on tap (a pint'll run you $5). The booze menu is beer and wine only, and the vibe is dim, dark and pleasant, with a lovely although non-functional brick-mantled fireplace to lean against thoughtfully, plus a yard for the summer months.
