Oulu

The boys behind Chelsea's ski-chic lounge Gstaad are at it again, only this time, it's destination Williamsburg (is that a hipster crying in the background?). Sleek Oulu—which gets its name from a coastal city in Finland—offers a striking, woodsy (and environmentally-aware) decor with moody lighting, a garage door wall that opens up to the street, lofty ceilings and an eye-catching, textured asphalt-like facade. There's only one Finnish beer at the moment, and the specialty drink offerings are minimal, with a few refreshing highlights like the Victorian Cocktail, an intriguing combination of gin, Earl Grey tea, and apple juice.
