Raccoon Lodge
- Neighborhood: Tribeca
- 59 Warren St.
- New York, NY 10007
Inebriating Tribeca locals for over 25 years, this shabby, no-frills watering hole is the true embodyment of a dive, with the suspended taxidermy driving home the "lodge" part of its moniker. Expect $2 PBR, well-worn wooden furnishings enhanced by strange, reddish lighting, and rickety metal bar stools with beat-up green vinyl seats. The patronage is mostly of the Bud-chugging, pool-playing male persuasion, except it does fill up with homebound office folks for a little while after work. One of the first downtown businesses to re-open following September 11th, there's a collection of memorabilia over the bar.
