Soda Bar
- Neighborhood: Prospect Heights
- 629 Vanderbilt Ave.
- Brooklyn, NY 11238

The old-fashioned "Soda Bar" neon light beckons hipsters and professors, bikers and librarians, new moms and old dads alike to this beloved and sprawling neighborhood bar, where the onion rings are greasy, the wood is well-worn, and all of the draught beers are above average. The front section is a cozy-feeling area done in blonde wood and low lights, which wraps around to a separate (and reservable) party room, then leads up to a couch area, and back down to a calm backyard patio overhung with greenery and low shadows. We can't really imagine the fancy-bar influx to Prospect Heights will do much to dent Soda's much-deserved popularity.
