The Hook & Ladder Pub
This Second Avenue watering hole just might be one of the only decent hangs this neighborhood's got going for it, although with all the drink specials and bar games you might feel like you've reverted back to sophomore year at (insert college here). A small and narrow pub with good service and cheap beer, although a main draw is the large covered patio out back adorned Beirut tables. Thursday nights bring patrons the bargain of the century, with $10 all-the-draught-beer-you-can-drink. There's also karaoke on Tuesdays and dollar drafts on Fridays.
