The Levee

A quintessential neighborhood bar, The Levee offers everything a laid-back drinker might need: cheap beer and booze (sometimes alarmingly cheap), pool, board games, bar food until 4 a.m. (chili dogs, sloppy joes and something called a Frito Pie), a dog-friendly attitude and bottomless buckets of free Cheez Balls. They've also got videogames and a jukebox, which means they've pretty much hit all our requirements for wanting to stay at a bar for an ungodly long amount of time. Like that time we spent a full work-day's worth of hours there (eight). Once it had happened, it was sort of sad to realize what we'd done, but also happy, you know? Because we had fun.
