The Manhattans
- Neighborhood: Prospect Heights
- 769 Washington Avenue
- Brooklyn, NY 11238
- Price range: $ (Under $9)
The bar formerly known as Ripple is now The Manhattans, dive impresario Tracy Westmoreland's latest nightlife venture. The décor and design have remained much the same (weathered old bar, vinyl banquettes, stools and low lighting), but rotating art from local artists now cycles over the walls. As for drinks, The Manhattans is offering beer, booze and wine—nothing too fancy—at bargain basement (or neighborhood-appropriate) prices.
Come spring, Westmoreland might make good on the space's roof options, meaning PHeighters might get their very own rooftop drinking space.
