With over 60 feet of bar length, 21 mounted HD TVs, a wood burning fireplace, a sports memorabilia gallery and a private lounge area, this large yet genial tavern caters to the discerning sports fan—but is comfy enough for a non-sports-freak to chill out. The beer selection is impressive—the Pourhouse has 50 bottles and 24 draughts from every beer-producing continent, with two beer sommeliers to guide you. (A detailed wine and specialty drink menu will sate the non-beer-nerds.) Weekends bring an heavy influx of local NYU kids but hey, look where you are.
