The folks behind perennial under-the-radar favorite Good World Bar & Grill bring you another lovely and relaxed Scandinavian-inflected eat-and-drinkery in the form of White Slab Palace, a beautifully windowed and wooden spot at the corner of Allen and Delancey that serves amped-up Sveeeedish-sounding cocktails, like the gin martini served with skewered sardines, alongside a worldly (but mostly Scandinavian) food menu, offering licorice-gratinéed lobster, pork-and-oyster spring rolls and Swedish anchovies. As you would at Good World, keep an eye out for unexpected creativity and lots of Aquavit.
