This laid-back watering hole has a few things going for it that helps it stand out among the countless hipster bars in this hood. First up: the burger. The folks behind Alphabet City's Royale run this operation, and they've brought their prime patty over the river for Brooklyn carnivores. Once you're tipsy and need a late-night bite (the kitchen stays open until 2 a.m.), you'll see why this is such good news. Then, there's the whiskey. An extensive list contains over 50 selections, many of which were distilled in the good old U. S. of A. Though the selection is heavy on the bourbon, you can also grab a dram of a nice single malt or Irish selection. To go with all the brown spirits, there are fourteen beers available on draft, 'cause not even the thirstiest hipster can hit the hooch all night. The best time to stop by is for the happy hour on weeknights, when you can score $3 drafts from 5 to 8 p.m. Sweet!
