Art Party!
Last Friday at (Le) Poisson Rouge, 11 artists put on a live, freestyle art show—organized by Art Battles and The Muse Box—as a background for AMIT, a part Kuwaiti, part Mexican, part Indian indie/electronica musician from Toronto debuting his first EP, "Hello World." The music was good (DJ Teen Wolf of Ninja Sonic also spun a special set), the beer was cheap (and good—thank you, Magic Hat), and the art was crazy. Oh, and there was bonus Chuck Close artwork scattered throughout. Drunken art-lovers partied, and we took their pictures.
