Ear Inn

Located on the ground floor of the James Brown House (a designated landmark built in 1817), the Ear Inn didn't become a bar until the 1830s. Due to its proximity to the Hudson River, it operated as a down and dirty sailor's bar where women wouldn't dare venture.
