Unless you've been spending time aboard a submarine these days, you’ve probably heard some sort of rumbling about The Rusty Knot, the new maritime-themed pseudo-dive overlooking the Hudson River.  Nightlife sure-things Ken Friedman (The Spotted Pig) and Taavo Somer (Freemans) are behind the hideaway and have tapped Joaquin Baca (Momofuku) to man the bar's kitchen. The decor is full of sea shanty charm, with wood-paneled walls, mounted bass, a classic rock jukebox and an array of boozy offerings—from $1 beers to $14 tiki concoctions, making Rusty Knot a breath of fresh (salty) air.
