Old Town Bar
In an attempt to get over bad breakup No. 1 with Mr. Big, Carrie gets dragged to a baseball game at Yankee stadium (wearing a fur coat, it should be noted) with Samantha, Charlotte and Miranda. After having the "New Yankee" sign the fly ball she caught while sitting up in the nosebleed section (and "fueled by a ball park cheap beer buzz”), Carrie asks the athlete to accompany her to a Dolce & Gabbana party.
On a date following, they head to this classic 19th-century tavern, catching peanuts in their mouths and drinking beer (which are always $5) at the 55-foot mahogany bar before Carrie cuts the Yankee loose after bumping into Big and realizing she’s not ready to date again.
