Onieal's Grand Street
This roomy Little Italy tavern and restaurant serves as the fictional Scout, the bar that Steve opens with Aidan as his silent partner. Though Miranda and Carrie have since broken things off with their respective former flames, they both manage to make an appearance at the opening party where Carrie sees furniture-desginer Aidan’s imprint in the mahogany bar, wood floors and intricately carved ceiling (as well as Aidan himself for the first time since she admitted to cheating on him with Big).
In reality, the craftsmanship is handiwork that dates back to the Prohibition era during the bar’s speakeasy days. The detailing is balanced by modern touches such as striped-fabric banquettes and fanciful cocktails like the Perfect Peach Manhattan and Strawberry Tryst.
