Our favorite NYC beer bars
Our favorite NYC beer bars
The city is filled with places to drink awesome beer. You might even say our stein overfloweth. But, oof, never say that!
• D.B.A Brooklyn
Calmer than its Manhattan sister, D.B.A. serves just as many brews (and whiskeys), plus hearty slices of delicious muffaletta. We also like to read quietly here at around 7 p.m. Every day.
• Spuyten Duyvil
We were already admirers of their globe-circling menu (Sri Lanka, Sweden and Japan are repped), but then they got a backyard and we were like whuuuut!
• Jimmy's No. 43
Amazing beer selection, amazing Euro-leaning, Greenmarket-sourced beer-accompanying grub. Plus they're really nice there.
• Downtown Bar & Grill
No joke, this place serves more than 800 kinds of beer. It makes your head spin, like in "The Exorcist."
• 124 Rabbit Club
Are you in the club? Wink, wink, snap, snap, clap, clap, finger wave.
• Bar Great Harry
There's no better place to drink Sly Fox with three friends while your dog lies on the sidewalk and you sit in the window.
• Draft Barn
It's out in the middle of nowhere, which sort of makes it feels like we've hiked through the German forest to reach its medieval embrace.
• Pacific Standard
So comfortable, so woodsy, so nerdily cute.
