Well, summer's over, and a chill is in the air. Wait—no, it's not, and no, there isn't! Thank you, four-day work week, for making this weekend come so fast, and thank you, lingering summer, for making it so pleasant. We plan to take advantage of it by ogling the lithe and languid at the hipster pageant, sporting a robot costume under the Bushwick stars, catching (metaphoric) glitter on our tongue and glutting on spicy Korean at midnight in a swirl of reggae and funk. Won't you join us?

Mondo: An Indie Dance Party
- Don Hill's - 511 Greenwich St. - New York
Every 1st Friday of the month 11 p.m.
The kids at Don Hill's mix it up with indie, outré pop, retro, punk and a little bit of shoegaze thrown in for good measure. Resident DJs Miss Modular, Dr. Maz and Kevington spin this electro dance-bash the first and third Fridays of every month. Music snobs and dance lovers rejoice!
