Although this East Village dive has mild pretentions of being an "upscale" sports bar, the, uh, top-heavy waitstaff and the slightly immature, NYC-transplanted crowd expose the joint for what it truly is. With 12 42" plasma screens, the joint draws major crowds for the major matchups, but the surprisingly subpar pub grub and blasting DJ-spun pop music during commercials are slight turn offs. Gimmicky beer offerings clearly desgined to draw an ex-fraternity crowd preside, such as the multi-foot "beer bong," which pretty much explains itself.
