Saloon is the awkward, yet somehow alluring, offspring of a nightclub and a pub. It kind of feels like a Jersey Shore club plopped onto First Avenue, and while no one ever admits to going there, it is always crowded. The three full service bars and two DJs fill the two rooms with party people that stretch from the sports bar crowd to the bridge and tunnel dance troupes.
