Welcoming spring with feathers, lace, fur and leaf masks: a Rococo vernal equinox ball
Putting your spring-celebrating mini-barbecue to shame, the ridiculously opulent Dances of Vice Vernal Equinox Ball, held on Sat., March 21 at The Montauk Club, saw partiers in various stages of over-the-top dress (and undress) drinking, dancing and generally blowing our boring, jeans-and-t-shirted minds. It was a four-way Victorian/Rococo/1920s-era marriage of music, beauty, hedonism and fashion. Which is why we're looking for velvet codpieces, wigs with birds in them and chartreuse glue-on horns on eBay right now. Inspired? Their next ball is on April 18. Spring has sprang!
