A Jazz Age and gin-soaked fundraising gala on the banks of the Gowanus
The gorgeous and Gatsby-esque were at it again on Saturday at the Dreamland Gala, a fundraiser for the upcoming Jazz Age Lawn Party on Governors Island. Unlike the upcoming Lawn Party, this gala was indoors and safely away from the melty August heat, in a 19th-century warehouse known as the Green Building, on the verdant banks of the Gowanus. Michael Arenella and His Dreamland Orchestra were in fine form, guests were soused with wine and complimentary Hendrick's Gin cocktails, and, as usual, everyone looked lovely. Sadly, at the end of the night they all had to get back in their time machine.
If you're compelled by this gallery, by all means prepare for the Jazz Age Lawn Party itself, coming up on September 27.
