Macao Trading Co.'s annual Drunken Dragon Festival is the best reason we found for a Memorial Day weekend staycation. The invitation-only bash featured endless cocktails, champagne, burlesque (there was a python!) and a dragon dance—all things we'll gladly take a glitter canon to the chest for (and we did!). Hosted by party impresario Adam Aleksander and Asian Sexsation Calamity Chang, the duo kept the sizzle going into the wee hours. Aziz Ansari and Nick Zinner dropped in, as well as many of our favorite NYC mixologists. We also found our new favorite cocktail, revived from the recipes annals of the Macao crew, the Mediterra. All we remember was there was vodka involved and figs. And it was delicious.
