The Brooklyn beer-makers reveal their dark, golden and reddish secrets
In our continuing effort to get inside the hearts, minds and doors of New York City's remaining breweries, we took a tour of Kelso of Brooklyn, in Clinton Hill, where five guys brew tasty craft ales, seasonal beers and tiny batches of grundies (a grundy = a littler tank that can hold seven barrels of specialty beer, like Kelso's highly coveted Flemish Red Ale, which comes out only in September).
