Let's just cut to it. Asian-inspired cocktails extend past the sake bomb, with mixologists dropping Eastern staples like shiso leaves, palm sugar and yuzu juice into their smashes and swizzles. At this opening party for the Luckyrice Festival, held Tuesday evening at the Bowery Hotel, mixmen and women from Daniel, Pegu Club, Fatty Crab, Ma Peche, Theater Bar and Macao Trading Co. served drinks with names like Samui Sunset and La Va Jay Jay.
