Hotly anticipated Williamsburg outpost opens, just in time for outdoor drinking and the World Cup. Goaaal!
Housed in a former gas station adjacent to the BQE, Loreley Williamsburg is an airy 80-seater, including a patio for 60, and more Brooklyn than Bavarian—the way we like it. Cooly modern in design—wooden beams, concrete floors and exposed brick—the 21st-century-biergarten's menu doesn't stray far from the fatherland; they've imported their hearty Teutonic fare from Loreley’s longtime Lower East Side location. Whether you're looking for a warm pretzel with mustard or a pork shank big enough for two (OK, four) to pair with your pilsner, appetites of all sizes are willkommen.
