A spirited, sudsy afternoon with some of New York's top brewmasters
More than 300 local (and semi-local) breweries brought kegs of their finest to Governors Island for the fourth annual New York Brewfest, a Heartland Brewery-sponsored four-and-a-half-hour-long celebration of gloriously fermented starches held Saturday afternoon. The weather was perfect, the setting was gorgeous, the crowd was buzzing (pun intended)...and a few details still need to be worked out (see our critique here).
