Tapping the singles scene in Carroll Gardens and the West Village
Navigating the singles scene in NYC can be as frustrating as searching for meaning in a "Jersey Shore" episode. To get to the bottom of things, we picked two bars in two very different neighborhoods, the West Village and Carroll Gardens, and polled boys, girls and bartenders for their wildest hookup stories, worst pickup lines and most candid analysis of the singles scene at each locale.
Each bar offers a very different scene from the next, but it’s safe to say that all four are ideal for, well…getting some.
