The Linnaean Libation League held its inaugural "meeting," with a beery party under the stars (urban haze, whatever)
We knew yesterday was unseasonably gorgeous for a reason: Last night was the Oktoberfest party at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden, where guests were treated to a cornucopia of beers (Dogfish Head, Smuttynose, Sprout Creek Farm, Doc's Hard Cider), specially paired edible treats and access to the grounds after dark—all to celebrate the inauguration of the Linnaean Libation League, which as far as we can tell is an elegant drinking team. Yay! It was lovely, as you can see.
