Forget dumping vodka into your Slurpee: these frosty drinks are all the buzz
Water, water everywhere, and all of it frozen. With fruit and booze. And no, this isn't a complaint. While everyone knows a good frozen margarita or daiquiri, NYC offers more than your-run-of-the-mill Mexican- or tiki-themed drinks. From icy bourbon and berry tipples to frozen beer and classics iced over, there's no shortage of chic frozen beverages for summer sipping.
We broke everything down into five categories: Fun With Rum, Basic Tiki, Beer and Wine, Oddball Combos, and, of course, Margaritas. Forget dumping a shot of vodka into your 7-Eleven Slurpee this year and head out for these thoughtfully made, liquor-filled slushies.
