Hooray, Prohibition ended 77 years ago!
The speakeasy-style West Village bar and restaurant Employees Only threw its annual Repeal Day party, celebrating the 77th anniversary of the end of Prohibition, with burlesque, cake, bar-top dancing and gallons of well-appointed cocktails. If you've watched HBO's "Boardwalk Empire", you know Prohibition was no fun. Unless you threw parties in secret. And boy were those some parties. Watch the show. Anyways, the Prohibition is OVER.
