We'll stand behind Chuck Taylors as some pretty timeless footwear-except for the black ones with pink tongues. Those were never cool. But rocking a pair of Chucks with formal attire? We're on the fence. Granted, it makes a statement that you are not going to let a stuffy black tie affair crush your style. It also makes a statement that you are the guy who wears Chucks at your cousin's fancy pants wedding. This event—Tux with Chucks Prom at The Bell House—was no such affair. Chucks were appreciated with bad suits, boxy (and foxy) dresses and cheesy cummerbund. Vice Magazine was involved somehow. Cheeseburger, Nick Diamonds and Hard Nips played live.
