NYC's nerd prom has become an Internet Week tradition
Now an Internet Week tradition, the annual Webutante Ball benefit went down at Marquee on Tuesday night. Some have called the event NYC's "nerd prom"—versus "nerd spring break" at the annual SXSW conference in Austin. All ticket sales went to the Michael J. Fox Foundation to benefit Parkinson's research. Attendees included Judah Friedlander, Kari Ferrell and other people with sore thumbs. From checking-in too much, sicko! And sore livers this morning.
And you might want to attend our own Internet Week event happening on Thursday, June 9 at Angels and Kings. Free Jim Beam from 6 p.m.-9 p.m. RVSP here.
