Located "under" the W Hotel in Union Square, this swank lounge has become a popular hot-spot. Quite a different scene than W's upstairs bar, Olives, Underbar is a dark intimate space with candles providing what illumination there is, and curtains giving the patrons the privacy they crave. Little make-out nooks with walls made of velvet and filled with pillows line the perimeter. A great place to bring a date if you are trying to seal the deal, or impress with your ability to pay for extra-pricey drinks.
