Crave, The Wine Bar

Crave Catering and Events knows how to throw a good shindig, and they are taking their hospitality schools to the next level with this small wine bar. The 20-wine list focuses on organic and biodynamic labels that pair well with the small bites offered at the space. Think nibbles like house made Asian-spiced beef jerky, cheese plates and veggies that are grown in the garden out back. Look for featured wines like a sparkling red Lambrusco and local selections from Bridgehampton, New York. You won't find any wine-snobbery here—the owners are frequently on site and are more than happy to guide you through the menu and offer suggestions. They're shooting for a neighborhood vibe, and would never scoff if you didn't know your Pinot Noirs from your Pinot Grigios. Since they're only open four days a week, they're not catering to the hardcore winos either. You'll just find a small storefront full of neighborhood peeps trying to discover a new varietal or two.
