Just announced: The categories - including two new ones - and nominees for the 2013 MTV Movie Awards.
Django Unchained and Ted lead the pack with seven nominations each. Silver Linings Playbook landed six nominations, Dark Knight Rises earned five. Rounding out the most nominated films are The Avengers, The Perks of Being a Wallflower, Pitch Perfect and Skyfall with four each.
Voting begins now at MovieAwards.MTV.com through April 13. The show airs live April 14 from the Sony Pictures Studios lot in Culver City, Calif.
Along with the usual favorite categories including Best Villain and Best Kiss, there are two new categories.
Channing Tatum, Taylor Lautner, Daniel Craig, Christian Bale and Seth MacFarlane as Ted will compete for "Best Shirtless Performance."
And Les Misérables, Magic Mike, Pitch Perfect, Silver Linings Playbook and The Perks of Being a Wallflower will compete to win the inaugural "Best Musical Moment" award.
Jennifer Lawrence, Emma Watson, Rebel Wilson (who is hosting the awards show), Anne Hathaway and Mila Kunis have landed the most Golden Popcorns nominations among women. At the head of the pack for the men are MacFarlane as Ted, Jamie Foxx, Bradley Cooper and Tatum.
