Apparently, we haven't heard the last of Mike Tyson yet. The former heavyweight champion's stint on Broadway this past summer -- a one-man show written by his wife, Kiki Tyson, and directed by Spike Lee -- was one of the year's greater theatrical curiosities. Now comes word that Mike Tyson: Undisputed Truth will launch a 10-week tour in February.
Tyson, who first made the announcement Tuesday on Jimmy Kimmel Live, is poised to bring his verbal punches to 36 cities, starting in Indianapolis and moving through Chicago, Los Angeles, Houston and Washington, D.C.
Speaking with USA TODAY last July, Tyson said that he regarded show business much as he had boxing, as a fraternity that he felt privileged to join. "I saw a Judy Garland performance from the '50s that was like nothing I'd ever seen -- she took it to a whole other level. Now she's gone, and I have the chance to be on Broadway. I'm very lucky."
