Designer dorms delight co-eds
For a Loyola University medical student's Chicago apartment, Coral Springs, Fla.-based designer Jan Rothenberg MacGyvered a headboard out of a trellis to save space. "If the student feels happy in their room and it's well-ordered and things are put away properly and other kids like to come in there, it sets the tone for their experience. It's comforting," she says.
