Katherine Heigl ran into a little technical trouble reading her speech off her iPad as she accepted an award for her work for the American Cancer Society. "I didn't think that one through," she said, holding her iPad away from the microphone to stop the buzzing. Later, she grew teary recounting when, at 16, she learned her mother had been diagnosed with cancer. "It was the most petrifying day of my life," she said.
