We know you've got problems; we’re no strangers to awkward social situations and romantic mishaps ourselves. But frankly, sometimes we’re too busy barbecuing and drinking wine spritzers to fix your lives, so we’re forced to pass your questions on to comedians. L.A.-based up-and-comer Josh Fadem recently stepped in to advise one young man on a delicate dating dilemma.

Q: Dear comedian,
I'm not sure who to consult about this because just asking makes me sound like a d-bag. My girlfriend is awesome, but she's kind of not stylish enough for me. She's smart and nice, but her hair and her clothes are pretty blah. Can I change her, or should I keep looking?

A: Well, it’s not that black and white, you see…How old are you? Do you have the time in life to find a new lady? How easy is it for you to get a girlfriend? Do the trashy babes blow you off, but the boring babes flock to you? How does she look without the “blah” clothes, if you know what I mean? Yeah…eh? If you know what I mean!

If you’re afraid to go out in public with her because she's so dull-looking, don't worry. If that's the case, no one is noticing her. All eyes are on you, sweetheart! Or you've just got to learn to communicate with your sweet Sally. You can't turn to a comedian every time she puts on that gray sweatshirt or has hair pointing in the wrong direction…or can you? (Cue harp music and a montage of comedian coaching you through various life decisions).

For more of Mr. Fadem's spot-on wisdom and comedic salvation, head to Josh Fadem's Acid-Reflux Hour on Sundays at the Ramada Inn. Not unlike bad advice, admission is free.

**Note: The July 20 show is CANCELLED.
