Who doesn't like to drink and shop? Of course, too many mimosas can lead to a polyester jumpsuit purchase (or so we've heard). But sometimes the risks of a boozy buy are less perilous. Take Brooklyn Collective's summer show. With an open bar and barbecue at neighboring Lido Bar, Saturday's soiree will showcase new designer threads and inspirations (past items included black sequin boleros ($95), hand painted shoes ($80), "industrial" jewelry and custom guitar straps $65). Imbibe as much as you want here. The worst that can happen is you end up with a fabulous new wardrobe--and a pounding headache.

Where: 198-200 Columbia St., Brooklyn
When: July 14 at 7 p.m.-"till you're ready to go home"
Why: Sometimes you need a few drinks to buy painted skull sneakers
