Idea #3: Try a new toy

Thanks to 'SATC,' every urbanite and their ex-lover espouses the joy of the Rabbit, arguably the most famous sex toy of sex toys. But while it was cold in the winter, tech geeks behind these gadgets toiled away to create some awesome, sleek and even environmentally-friendly new pleasure pushers.

Among the hottest new releases: Vergenza’s Mk. 1, a double-ended, gender-neutral aluminum shaft equipped with six orbs ($140; inspiredbyvergenza.com).

“We wanted something you felt comfy to leave out [in the open] in your bedroom, something you have a lot of pride in owning,” says Jessica Resler, a fashion-industry gal who heads up the erotic lifestyle brand. Her new company’s flagship toy officially made its official debut last week at a launch party at the Pleasure Chest (156 7th Ave. South at Charles St.).

“What’s wonderful with aluminum as a material is that it’s very safe and non-porous and easy to clean," adds Resler. "And, if you apply a temperature to it, it holds that temperature.”

What’s also raising temperatures in an era of global warming is the new host of wood, glass and steel-based sex toys on the market—so much so that Babeland is hosting a free workshop on these new deluxe devices on July 15 at its LES location (94 Rivington St.).
