EVENTS: Sussex Spaniel Stump wins Best in Show at Westminster!

Stump, the Sussex Spaniel is the new Best in Show winner.

After two suspenseful days of competition, the Westminster Dog Show's 2009 Best in Show Winner is (drum roll!) Stump, the Sussex Spaniel. At 10 years old, Stump is the oldest Best in Show winner in Westminster's history. We just hope this champion becomes apart of the Westminster's charity program angels on a lease, as last year's best in show winner Uno, the beagle did. Sussex Spaniel Club of America, get ready to hear from a lot of potentially new owners. Who knows, maybe the Obama family might have another favorite breed alongside their rumored favorite pet choice, the Portuguese Water Dog.
