Calling all brides to be! The Betsey Johnson sample sale that kicked off this morning had discounted wedding gowns ($800). In addition to the frilly frocks of white, the sale had tons of day dresses ($50) and cocktail gowns ($75), in addition to a seeminly never-ending selection of purses, plastic cosmetic bags (hello, holiday gifts!), jewelry and a shoe selection ($50) that actually had decent size ranges. Held at the Millenium Hotel in midtown, the sale wasn't the ususal chaos of designer sample sales and was actually a "pleasant" shopping experience (well, aside from the shopgirl who kept on yelling, "here comes the bride!").
