Style: Brooklyn Flea(s)
Spring’s almost here, and for bargain hunters that mean’s just one thing: Brooklyn Flea! Following a smash success last season, the Brooklyn Flea will be returning April 18 to Fort Greene every second Saturday, following a winter hiatus indoors in DUMBO. This second season brings new vendors (a granola company and new antique dealers from as far as Chicago are among the newbies) and veterans back to the Fort Greene Flea. Get their early on opening day to be the first to browse Racked’s own curated mix of vendors. And for those who have grew attached to the DUMBO pop-up store, don’t fret. The Flea’s plans to keep this location open on Sundays during the warm weather months.
More flea market buzz: Carroll Gardens’ Brooklyn Indie Market toast their third birthday the weekend of April 4 with a grand spring reopening. Look for the red-and-white striped tent to find sale items, from Wabisabi Brooklyn’s decoupage to one-of-a-kind hats from Rock and Salt. Continue the spring spree north to Williamsburg’s Artists and Fleas, where their new Vintage Market debuts that day, too. Located next to Artists and Fleas’ indoor space, the Vintage Market will showcase collectable furniture, home accessories, lamps, clocks and watches, posters, prints, clothes, shoes, jewelry, memorabilia and more.

Looking forward to the outdoor Fort Greene Flea being back, one of the best free weekend activities.
