It’s hard to imagine the Christmas season without Charles Dickens’s classic tale “A Christmas Carol.” Now, all fans of Scrooge, Tiny Tim and Bob Cratchit can have a chance to view the original bound manuscript at the Morgan Library. Written in 1843, the story was acclaimed as an instant masterpiece and has charmed all generations since. While at the Morgan, visit “Protecting the Word: Bookbindings of the Morgan,” an exhibition featuring 1,600 years worth of historic book bindings.
