Photographer Walker Evans said that picture postcards captured a part of America that other venues didn’t. Here’s a chance for you to decide in “Walker Evans and the Picture Postcard,” on view through May 25. Hundreds of picture postcards from his over 9,000 piece collection are on display. Also opening this month at the Met is “Cast in Bronze: French Sculpture from Renaissance to Revolution,” featuring 125 masterworks including statuettes, portrait busts and monuments.
