Don't be scared. This picture, taken at October's Zombiecon, only offers up one possibility of what we can expect from New York in 2009 (oddly enough, the same conclusion was reached by the producers of "I Am Legend"). But we're all about the positive here at Metromix. So click through our 2009 calendar and discover a city full of festivals, foodie events, drink-a-thons, obscure holidays, fashion soirees and not one but two events that involve dressing up in weird holiday garb, walking around town in a drunken haze and scaring the hell out of the locals. We heart this city!
